July brings the AARC two Public Service events and two opportunities to get some valuable experience operating in the field, doing real time communicating to assist event participants. First, on Sunday, July 9th, the Jefferson Sprint Triathlon will once again take place from Crozet Park in greater downtown Metropolitan Crozet. This spring triathlon will be very similar to the event last year, which was the first time this has taken place in the Crozet area.
The following Sunday July 16th, the Miller School Bike Races will once again be held on the loop starting from Miller School. Numerous volunteers are needed for both these PS events, so sign up early and sign up often.
