Saturday April 5 – Blue Ridge School Ride. Starts and Finishes at the Blue Ridge School in Dyke, VA. The event should be similar in scope and extent to the 2024 event. Participants in 2024 were: Bill N0WP, Brian K4BQF, Ed N3US, Patrick KO4VLM, Ian KN4TBG, John KK4JP, Elmer KF4UCI, Dayton AA4DH, Mike KQ9P, Nate N4PED, Tonya KQ4EUR, Warren KN4LYF, Will KQ4ODP, and Ben KG4EIF.
Saturday May 3 – Mint Springs Trail Run. Starts and Finishes at Mint Springs Park west of Crozet. At present, I expect this to be a repeat of 2024, whose participants were: Ben KG4EIF and Ben’s Kidds, Nate N4PED, Tonya KQ4EUR, Len KQ4BBR, and Zeph KQ4BIM.
Saturday June 7 – Blue Ridge Ride to Defeat ALS. Details are still a bit sketchy. This starts and finishes in the Keswick area. In addition to the 3 road routes, this year will include a gravel course that crosses the Southwest Mountain chain on Stony Point Pass to Rt. 20 and then crosses back over the Southwest chain via Turkey Sag. Participants in 2024 were: Bill N0WP, Brian K4BQF, Ed N3US, Ian KN4TBG, Michael KQ4QDS, Jake KQ4OAD, Jim WD2H, Joe KO8V, Susan KG5KUH, Joe KJ4PE, John KK4JP, Patrice KM4RSL, Elmer KF4UCI, Patrick KO4VLM, Mike KQ9P, Bobby KT4RTS, Russ KN4LAU, Steve KN4AOB, Warren KN4LYF, Will KQ4ODP, Bill K4FZE. This year we will be welcoming some VARA members that we worked with on the 2024 Fall Gravel Grinder. Thanks to Dave K4UEK for coordinating this cooperative activity between VARA and AARC.
