Amenities
Since this is a ride and not a race, expect restrooms or porta potties at rest stops as well as at start/finish. Also, SAG and other support vehicles will probably be able to stop long enough to use these amenities.
Last years rest stop refreshments included water, gateraid, sodas, bananas, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, peanut butter filled pretzel bites, potato chips, cliff bars, tootsie rolls, and trail mix. This year “We’ll have the foods you expect at endurance cycling events (nutrition products, gluten free options, sandwiches and fresh fruits), plus a wide variety of specialty treats”
“Mid-ride (50/75/100 routes) freshly made sandwiches provided by our local catering company”. I am guessing this will be at the White Hall Comm. Center and won’t be readily accessible to Ham’s at other stationary locations.
After party at Old Trail Village Swim Club features fully catered lunch, local wine and beer, and a swimming pool.
Locations

Rest Stop 2/5 | White Hall Community Center 2904 Browns Gap Turnpike, Crozet, VA Garth Rd (614) and Browns Gap Turnpike (810) Across from Wyant’s Store. Known to stump GPS and online maps | geo:38.117845,-78.661828 |
Rest Stop 3 | Boonesville Rd (and Blackwells Hollow Road??????) | geo:38.240222,-78.616088 |

Fun Ride Rest Stop | Chiles Peach Orchard 1351 Greenwood Road Crozet, VA | geo:38.067191,-78.747255 |
Location of rest stop 3 is suspect as it is based on ambiguous information from cue sheets. A later document gave a street address of 7268 Free Union Rd which is not very plausible as it misses the 75 and 100 mile routes entirely.
GIS
GPX/KML files have not been provided for this years event. You can find the ones from last years event on the AARC page for last year’s event. I do not know if the routes are the same.

Other radios
I don’t know if “race radios” (LMRS itenerant OR MURS) or FRS radios will be used. Since this is a ride not a race and there probably wont be a bunch of roving officials or flag persons, maybe not.
